Hypnotherapy is defined as a ‘skilled verbal communication’ and this is where my verbal skills, honed over three decades as a leading communicator, come into their own. Hypnosis is not sleep. During a session, you will be relaxed into a safe hypnotic state that is a sleep of the nervous system . It allows an important two-way conversation between your subconscious mind and me. You will be aware of this safe and guided dialogue, and you will be empowered when you understand the origin or your issue.
The session will typically last one and a half to two hours. The first half hour will be a totally confidential discussion of what is troubling you and how it is making you feel or behave. During the hypnosis state, a conversation will take place with your subconscious mind so that we can find the root cause of your issue.
In the last part of the session, we will create your bespoke cure. This part will be recorded for you so that you can listen to for 21 days or longer. Why? Because it has been proven that to truly break and rewire a behaviour or thought process you need to repeat the new and positive beliefs for 21 days. It may not take that long for you. Many people leave the session with such a deep understanding of the underlying cause of their former issue and such a sense of lightness or relief that the cure is effective from that moment onwards.
